Black Forest Cake🌸
Ingredients🌸
🔸For the Genoise Cake
6 eggs, at room temperature
1 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of all purpose flour
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
1 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
🔸Other
2 cups of whipped cream
1 cup of canned fruit salad
1 cup of chocolate shavings
Fruits for decoration
Method🌸
-Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
-Beat the eggs and the sugar until they are tripled in size
-Meanwhile, mix all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl
-Sift the the dry ingredients into the egg mixture and slowly fold in using a spatula
-Line a round 8 inch springform pan with parchement paper,Do not butter
-Bake for 20-25 mins and let it cool
-Save the syrup from the fruit can
-Cut the cake in half and generously syrup both sides of it
-Layer some whipped cream and some canned fruits on the first half then close with the other
-Decorate with some more whipped cream, fruits and chocolate shavings
