(Byblos, Lebanon) I may not be able to go back in time and take a photo 150 years ago (which is how old this house is) but I can take one today of what I would have imagined it looked like back then and re-create a moment in time. Not sure why but I've always had a nostalgic streak for everything vintage and historical. Growing up I was obsessed with old photographs, writers like Jane Austen and the poetry of Keats, Frost and the Bronte sisters. Maybe because there was still some level of intellect, chivalry, principles, and romance at that time... I certainly don't feel like I belong in our modern world today. Anyone else feel the same? Like they belonged in another time and era? . Also why did parasols go out of style and can we bring them back please? They're so pretty and practical under the hot blazing sun! 🌞 . . . #byblos #beirut #beautifuldestinations #pink #flowers #beautifultown #oldhouse #ancientcity #livelovebeirut #livelovelebanon #wonderful_places #lebanon #awesome #nature #earthfocus #amazing #holiday #travellingthroughtheworld #beautiful #photography #colorful #travelgram #travel #wanderlust #ourplanetdaily #travelanddestinations #beyondborders
