It is the best homemade cake recipe ! Of course, who can doubt grandmas authentic recipes ?
Grandmas Citrus Cake🌸
Ingredients🌸
Zest of half an orange
Zest of half a lemon
4 eggs
2 cups of granulated sugar
2 tsp of baking powder
2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
1 tsp of vanilla sugar
Method🌸
-Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
-Zest your orange and lemon halves and mix well with the sugar
-Add one egg at a time and mix vigorously
-Add half of the flour quantity along with the vanilla sugar and baking powder then mix well
-Add the orange juice and the rest of your flour and mix well
-Add the yogurt and mix well
-Pour in a greased baking pan and bake for around 40 mins or until the stick comes out clean
