Lebanon is not waiting for 2050, we are on a Guinnessrecord race and... #Lebanon is not waiting for 2050, we are on a #Guinnessrecord race and dumping 3200 tons a day of waste and plastic in the sea to reclaim land, build restaurants over garbage and dine at them like #zeitounabay. The pleasure and indulgence from eating at source, fresh and in season; our luxury of the past! Problem is, our: clothes, household and beauty products, fish, salt, beer, honey, tea and water are already contaminated with microplastic fibres, which we digest. Plastic is in our bodies, in our organs, attracting and absorbing more toxins inside of us. Cancer is already a milestone for our generation, what's the reprocussions from eating plastic? Wild reality check and call for global plastic production standards and high speed to #circularliving. Sahtein. Put down the plastic and make some noise 🍽️, next on the menu are dioxins as the government shuve incinerators down our throats. It already hurts to swallow. #BalaPlastic
