Cinnamon Rolls
🌸Ingredients
2 1/2 tsp of Dry Yeast
3/4 cup of Milk
1/4 cup of Granulated Sugar
1/4 cup of Warm Water
1 Egg
1 tsp of Salt
1/4 cup of Melted Butter
4 cups of All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup of Melted Butter(to brush the top)
🔸For the Filling
1/4 cup of Butter,softened
3/4 cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 cup of Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp of Ground Cinnamon
🔸For the Icing
1/4 cup of Cream Cheese
1 Tbsp of Butter, softened
1 1/4 cups of Powdered Sugar
3 to 4 Tbsp of Warm Milk
🌸Method
-In an allstand mixer bowl and a whisk,combine the milk,granulated sugar and the yeast and wait for 5 minutes or until the yeast gets bubbly
-Mix in the egg,salt, sugar and melted butter
-switch to a dough hook
-Add in half of the flour and all the water and mix well
-Add the rest of the flour and mix for 5-7 minutes -Kneed the dough on the countertop and form a ball
-Greese a bowl with some unflavored oil and put the dough
-Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour
-In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
-When doubled in size, roll the dough out onto a floured surface into a 15x9” rectangle
-Spread the soft butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly
-Roll the dough tightly starting from the long end
-Cut into 12-14 even pieces
-Place in a 9×13 greased pan
-Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for another 1 ½ hours
-Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
-Brush them with some melted butter and bake them for about 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
-To make the Icing,cream the butter in an allstand mixer
-Add in the cream cheese and the sugar and mix well
-Add the milk
-Keep the consistency creamy but very soft
-Spread the Icing over the warm rolls
