Teriyaki Chicken and broccoli 🌸
Ingredients🌸
1 chicken breast
2 cups of broccoli florets
1/3 cup of low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp of brown sugar
¼ tsp of white pepper
½ tsp of ground ginger
½ tsp of garlic powder
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 green onions, chopped
½ tsp of cornstarch
4 tbsp of cooking oil
½ cup of water
Method🌸
-In Boiled water, Cook the broccoli florets for 3 minutes and set aside
-Cut the chicken breast into cubes
-In a frying pan, add the chicken cubes and the cooking oil and fry until the chicken pieces are cooked and golden then set aside -In a separate bowl, add the soy sauce, brown sugar, onions,garlic, cornstarch and spices and whisk together
-In the same cooking pan, add the sauce and let in boil and thicken
-Add the chicken cubes and broccoli along with ½ cup of water and mix well
-Let cook on a high heat until most of the water has evaporated
-Sprinkle with sesame seeds and Serve on white Rice
