The Temple of Bacchus, is the Archaelogical gem of the Acropolis of... (Temple of Bacchus) The Temple of Bacchus, is the Archaelogical gem of the Acropolis of Baalbek complex. It is larger (and better preserved) than the Parthenon in Athens. It is 36 meters wide and 69 meters long, while the temple in Athens measures 31 x 69 meters. Being eight columns wide and fifteen columns deep, this temple is one of the largest of Antiquity. Its walls are adorned by forty-two unfluted Corinthian columns, nineteen of which remain upright in position standing 19 m high. #TempleOfBacchus #Baalbek #Baalbeck #BaalbekRuins #BaalbeckRuins #BekaaValley #Lebanon #Libanon #Libnan #Lebanon🇱🇧 #VisitLebanon #ig_lebanon #whatsuplebanon #lebanontimes #insta_lebanon #livelovebeirut #lebanonspotlights #livelovelebanon #beautifullebanon #lebanoninapicture #nationalart #super_lebanon #lebaneseview_ #lebanonhouses #ptk_lebanon
