I am one of those people who love #olives season along with all the hard work that goes into preparing the okives for pickling. A friend of mine recently invested in an olives cracking machine and invited me to use it whenever I needed to. Well what do you know? I opted for the old fashioned way. The way my ancestors did it and I will continue to crack the olives, one at a time, using the rock method for as long as I pickle olives. I call this method "labor of love" and that's how my Ouma used to do it. ❤
