My grandfather once told me the story about the rare occasions he used to... My grandfather once told me the story about the rare occasions he used to go to see the doctor a few villages away from ours. It was a 2 hour walk. He would take a dozen fresh eggs with him or a bucket of home made yogurt. That was payment for the doctor’s services. That’s called haggling. Last night I called my niece to come pick up a small #platter I prepared for her kids. Her daughter Sophia comes in with a big grin on her face carrying a container with two #eggs inside. My niece tells me that these two freshly laid eggs are a payment for the platter. I was horrified. "What? 2 measley eggs for a platter with the lot", I exclaimed. "They are organic. The chicken just laid them." My niece was quick to respond. Well, I can't argue with that. It's not every day one gets to eat eggs straight out of the chickens ass. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
