The village of #Tell_Meayan, North Lebanon, which is recognized for cultivating substantial amounts of potato and citrus plants, is now benefiting from a newly fortified concrete canal.
The farmers who irrigate their lands using the village’s main canal have reduced their farming costs and consequently increased their yield. This project has also benefited 750 Lebanese and 100 Syrians who reside in the area.
The replacement of the old soil canal with a newly constructed concrete one is a project funded by @ukinlebanon and is within the framework of the Lebanon Host Communities Support Programme #LHSP #MoSA #UNDP.
